About Harvey Li
Driven by a strong sense of integrity, I aim to utilize my strong background in science and engineering to build a better future. From a young age, I've always had a desire to help others—to somehow have a positive impact on people's lives. This aspiration has led me to the field of biotechnology, specifically, biopharmaceuticals and medical devices. Coming from a strong science and math background, I really enjoy working in the lab to face challenges and solve problems. My goal is to develop medical devices or treatments for diseases that currently have no cure and to make medicine easily accessible to anyone who needs it. In essence, I hope to improve the human condition. While this may seem like a daunting task to many, I don't back down in the face of a challenge, rather, I embrace it. While I love doing work and the sense of accomplishment that comes with it, I also have other hobbies that I enjoy in my spare time. I love traveling and learning about new cultures and perspectives. I believe that learning about different cultures and how to communicate with different people is an important skill to have, especially in this increasingly globalized world. Other hobbies I enjoy include rock climbing and photography.
Listed skills include Cell Culture, Electrospinning, Transfection, Microsoft Office, and 16 others.
