Lead all indirect procurement categories for China and be the main contact for our China business which includes the sourcing of all non-raw materials and services (including Packaging, Logistics, Energy, CAPEX equipment & service like Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, Lab, Process Automation, Pipe, Valve, Construction & Installation & Commissioning & Turnaround, etc. and all other general business services like HR, Finance, Legal, Travel & Fleet, Safety & Environmental, Real Estate, Facility Management, Consulting, IT, Marketing, etc.)2. As Asia Indirect Procurement Single Point of Contacts (SPOC), the focus is to be the primary go-to-person for stakeholders in case of doubts or questions, ensure visibility on the overall Indirect Procurement agenda & appropriate account management on all levels in the organization, be the main contact for HR/ legal/ communication matters related to the Asia Indirect Procurement Organization and animate the Indirect Procurement community within Asia.3. Accountable for overall ~400 million EUR annual spend/ 30+ sourcing professionals / 30+ manufactory sites across whole APAC region in the globally matrixed procurement (category led) organization.

To secure data gathering and analysis on internal purchasing status, supply markets, competition and trade environment, as input to Category Strategy development.Contribute to sourcing initiatives with respect to supplier assessment & negotiation preparation as well as negotiation and implementation.a) Key areas of accountability/responsibility:1. Lead development and implementation of the strategy for Indirect Spend in the Regional Hub (as derived form the Hub strategy) and assign priorities for sourcing projects a. Define Regional Hub Purchasing plan, tune in to Category Management and challenge business requirements to open new sourcing opportunities b. Take a strategic and long term view of Purchasing in identifying and developing innovative sources and contractual arrangements and lead relevant regional initiatives c. Drive the change in accountability, behavior, structure, systems and increase the level of using Strategic Sourcing Methodology (SSM) in the Regional Hub.2. Key account management for Region/Site management / Key suppliers a. Measure and track performance Indirect Spend for the Regional Hub and make proactive contact with Region/Site management relative to following dimensions: customer satisfaction, savings, cash, compliance, supplier base and risk reduction b. Be first point of contact for Key Supplier management to build partnership, manage relationship and assess their performance3. Input to Category Management a. Collect all relevant information for Category management and discuss business needs in order to gain maximum fit for use. b. Enforce contract compliance and report and recommend changes to Category management.

Interface with local area and site partners to coordinate the resolution of area and site implementation issues. Serve as an advocate within purchasing leadership for site and partner needs5.
