Working with Invades to promote and manage student events across the University of Birmingham, through social media and other advertising platforms. As well as this, I am managing a team of over 60 across 4 different groups, aswell as Invades staff at other university’s to co-ordinate success.

Working as a sales representative to sell tickets for Invades events.

As the Deputy Marketing Officer for The 93% club at University of Birmingham, I focus on spreading awareness of our work through various social media channels, as well as making students aware of the opportunities we have that are available to them.

Holding the position of social secretary for the University of Birmingham Men’s Rugby Union club will involve organising virtual and in-person social events, as well as fundraisers and charity events, as well as rugby training sessions for over 100 members. Through this role, I will develop my leadership skills.

Leading a group of 7-9 year old’s at a football holiday camp. This was a very beneficial experience and it allowed me to work on my communication and managerial skills in a completely different environment. I had to be adaptable and always have a ‘Plan B’ which will help transfer across to the commercial world.
