Hi! I’m a current graduate student at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, pursuing a Master’s in Law and Diplomacy with dual tracks in International Legal Studies and Human Security & Humanitarian Affairs. My primary focus is International Humanitarian Law, as I am fascinated by the concept of constructing moral codes of conduct in landscapes that seem so devoid of it, and how we move to define what is or is not fair in war.Prior to my graduate studies, I gained professional experience in the field of migration as a Refugee Caseworker in Massachusetts working on the influx of HHP parolees coming to the region as well as IOM cases from Venezuela. This role was eye-opening in understanding the bureaucratic management of migration policy, but most impacted me through listening to my clients’ firsthand experiences with conflict and displacement, and the US legal system.I also completed my undergraduate degree at Denison University in 2023, where I majored in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a focus on the MENA region. During my studies, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia. There, I researched young women’s perspectives on social and political development in the wake of the Arab Spring.
