Supported new arrival families as they made sense of the US legal system, resettlement status, and their current community.• Played key role in crisis management of summer 2023 influx of Haitian Parolee families to MA shelter system.• Lead approx. 60 cases of Asylum Seekers/Parolees from Haiti, Cuba, and Venezuela recently migrated to service region; conducting intakes, ORR benefit applications, shelter/home visits, health referrals, ESOL/employment services, leading to eventual housing programs for full resettlement.• Provided language translation and interpretation frequently, in Spanish & French.• Coordinated with attorneys for paralegal services, and with state government and National Guard for strategic planning. Additionally aided in the Citizenship Services department, handling N400 process to completion.• Maintained case notes and files in accordance with State and Federal regulations.• Managed volunteer teams supporting families on site and by case, as well as for community events.
