We learn what’s important to them, help them establish meaningful and specific goals that reflect their values, and construct comprehensive financial plans. Then we help them implement those plans and stay the course on their journey to financial success. Harvey joined First Command Financial Services in Hinesville, Georgia, after completing his initial training in Laurel, Maryland in August 1989. He previously served as an enlisted soldier for three years before attending the United States Military Academy at West Point. Upon graduation, and serving in various command and staff assignments, Harvey separated from the US Army, joined First Command and later retired as a Senior Army Officer in the US Army Reserves. He initially served First Command clients in Hinesville Georgia, and later joined First Command's Virginia Beach/Norfolk Office. He was promoted to District Advisor in April 1996, servicing one main and 4 remote offices throughout the states of New York and New Jersey. Three years later, he accepted a promotion to lead First Command's El Paso,Texas operations, with the District ranking as the Top District in the Continental Region. He then moved back east, serving as the District Advisor of the Rockville/Laurel Office for the past eleven years. In 2011, he assumed Senior Advisor status, to spend quality time with family and friends, as he is originally from the Richmond, Virginia area. Harvey hold’s Series 6, 63, 65 and 26 Securities Licenses as well as the States of Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia Life and Health Insurance Licenses. Harvey is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Financial Services Institute, and GAMA International, an association for leadership development in the financial services industry.
