I joined VHD (now branded Perfect Storm), Brand Marketing Agency, as Head of Growth. We developed a strong niche in the media and consumer tech sector working on notable projects including Sky’s transition from analogue to digital. As a result, VHD were subsequently appointed to play a key role in supporting the national roll out of digital radio.Further successes at VHD include working on LG’s UK account for consumer electronics to support their clear goal of ‘wanting to be bigger than Sony’, and below-the-line work for Astra, the World’s leading satellite operator.

My first business, at the age of 20, focused on a niche in the high-quality end of the print industry, providing a direct service for luxury property, fashion and wealth management businesses as well as an indirect service for marketing agencies throughout the UK. I sold the business in 1998.

At global property and construction consultancy, Gleeds, I was able to combine my love for design and property whilst also studying a 7 year part-time degree course. I was part of the company’s high performance team working on the prestigious £60million Woking Shopping Development. I was also the lead for the refurbishment of Chippenham Railway Station – which was delivered on time and on budget.
