A native of North Carolina and a graduate of Methodist University, Harvey is deeply involved in his community. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Methodist University, Co-Chairman for the Cape Fear Botanical Garden’s Campaign for Natural Growth, a member of the Reeves School of Business Advisory Board and St. Johns Episcopal Church Planned Giving Committee. Harvey’s past services include serving on the Friends of Cancer Board, the Presidential Board of Advisory for Campbell University, as well as the Board of Trustees at Fayetteville Technical Community College. A Fayetteville resident of 53 years, Harvey resides with his wife, Mary, and enjoys traveling and boating.
