CurrentAs Deputy CEO I work with our CEO to:- develop the vision and strategic goals for Ribble Rivers Trust, - lead and grow a talented and collaborative team to develop and implement projects and plans with suitable funding,- manage resources and budgets and forecast spend, - ensure we are communicating effectively internally and externally, - work with the Board of Trustees on strategy and governance, - sustain a positive culture in our organisation that is in line with our purpose and values.Day to day I still lead the People & Learning team and lead several key projects, including:- Health & Environmental Action Lancashire (HEAL)Prioritising disadvantaged communities and those with long-term health conditions, HEAL will: Connect people with nature across the Ribble, Lune and Wyre Catchments, protect species, create and restore habitats, safeguard and create jobs in Lancashire’s environmental sector.- TributreesTributrees uses Ribble Rivers Trust's innovative tree planting prioritisation tool to focus delivery on where woodland creation will deliver multiple benefits for people and nature in the Ribble Catchment. This five year programme links with our wider tree planting campaign - Lancashire Woodland Connect - and other programmes such as HEAL, with the aim of enhancing 50km of river water bodies and plant around 20Ha of woodland.- Ribble Life Catchment PartnershipThis partnership embeds collaborative working at a river catchment scale to deliver cross-cutting improvements to our water environments. Ribble Life is arguably one of the UK’s most successful partnerships.- Ribble Life Together (see below)I joined Ribble Rivers Trust in November 2015 as Programme Manager for the Ribble Life Together project. I was promoted to Head of Learning & Engagement in April 2020 and Deputy CEO in October 2021.
