• Supports Bouyancy Area regardless of its goals, targets and production requirements.• Ensures all safety and standard operating procedures are being adhered at all times.• Coordinate with production and make disposition on issues or problems where immediate attention and corrective action is required during operation.• Responsible in production planning, product quality and process improvement.• Tasked to control and maintain consumable standard parts used in production for the shift.• Prepares production shift reports and endorse any issues and concerns to the next shift.• Gives technical recommendations and suggestions for process improvements during manufacturing cycle.• Optimizes the capabilities of each area to maximize method flow and improves productivity of each process.

Machinist III / Mold Assembly Engineering Technician• Perform set-up, buy-off and evaluation of jigs, fixtures, trim/form system, encapsulation mold die and other tooling capabilities on prior to mass production to ensure that products are within specification and at the same time to eliminate problem in succeeding processes.• Supports our Assembly Production Area (AMKOR TECHNOLOGY PHILIPPINES INC. EOL/FOL) regardless of its tooling requirements.• Designated to technically give support to external customers like Texas Instruments (BAGUIO), ATMEL-TSPIC, PSI Technologies, ST-Micron, ANALOG DEVICES, CYPRESS Semiconductors, Perkin-Elmer, Fastech Semiconductors, Samsung Technologies and others.• Acts as an Officer-In-Charge for Assembly area.• AUTOCAD specialist for mechanical jigs, fixtures, trim/form system, encapsulation mold die and other tooling drawings.• Prepares weekly Quality Assurance report for processed items and responsible in monitoring Quality issues that arise from internal and external customers.• Coordinate with production and make disposition online issues or problem where immediate attention and corrective action is required.• Monitor/check and make a necessary adjustment regarding mold process temperature to ensure that machine within operating requirement limit prior to molding process.• Make sure process parameters are set and maintain during production run.• Responsible in maintaining the product quality for precision mold tool including jigs and fixtures being utilized and acquired by the customers.• Responsible in resolving issues arising from the tool during evaluation and after the delivery.• Do major and minor modifications of parts for mold, jigs, fixtures, die punch for trim and form and machine parts during set-up and product evaluation.• Primarily engaged in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs for machines and equipment.
