Harvey L. Temkin is Of Counsel in the firm's Madison office where he concentrates his practice on business law and real estate. Harvey serves business clients and health care clients, in addition to real estate investors, developers and lenders. He has represented hotel developers and investors on a national scale for more than 25 years. He is known for his creative thinking and his ability to understand and help his clients work through challenges to achieve their big-picture objectives. His specialized knowledge and experience, coupled with his relationship with business and government leaders throughout the state, have enabled him to find creative ways to help clients solve problems. Harvey served as a law professor for several years at Tulane University. He subsequently taught real estate and business organization at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he continues to lecture. He has also written extensively on topics which range widely from the enforceability of letters of intent in mergers and acquisitions to recent developments in the title insurance industry. Harvey regularly speaks on legal issues to business audiences, and he is a frequent presenter at the firm's Business Breakfast Series conducted through the Madison office.
