In this capacity, I am entrusted with ensuring that all statutory duties within the country are meticulously aligned with Abbott's global objectives, policies, & strategies. My responsibilities encompass providing strategic leadership & oversight to the affiliate Legal, Finance, HR, IT, Ethics & Compliance departments. Additionally, I spearhead Abbott's premier Medical Devices Cardiovascular & Vascular business in the country, with a strong emphasis on driving growth, fostering talent development, & enabling data-driven decision-making.Prior to joining Abbott, I was the Emerging Markets - Asia Regional Managing Director at Coloplast, a Danish company that develops innovative products & services for people with intimate healthcare needs. There, I managed the region's P&L and led the people management with the support of the local country managers. I also had the special task of restructuring the region; hiring & onboarding hybrid sales, marketing, & nurses. Additionally, I have held senior global, regional, & country management roles at DKSH (Medical devices), Verathon Medical, SARAYA, Schuelke (infection control & Hygiene Management) across the EU, US, & Asia Pacific regions. As a polyglot (speaking 7 languages)& a master deal maker, I have very strong negotiation, strategic, & analytical skills, with a particular interest in startups, mergers & acquisitions.
