On contract with RGIS an inventory management specialist on a variety of dashboards for the Top4 supermarkets. Developing stock management dashboards enabling the Supermarkets to keep track of product deployment. Employing the latest SAP R4 BusinessObjects product suite. Practioning best design and methodologies. Been on assignment with the BBC. Developing leading edge SAP XCelsius Dashboards, by intuitive incorporation of analytical scorecards. Also providing consultancy for BusinessObjects solutions with the Lloyds Bank , Hermes, RBS, DLA Piper, and various Healthcare Trusts.At Portsmouth Health Trust, delivered bespoke dashboard portal within the Business Objects Infoview platform.At RBS I was technical Lead in developing a new suite of reports. Designed a brand new universe from scratch and delivered 30 new MI reports in 3 months from start to go-live implementation.

Enhanced DEFRA's animal health reporting to produce more detailed reporting on Animal disease epidemics.Initially tasked as a Universe trouble shooter, investigating , resolving their existing universe problems and acting as thier tech specialist developing new MI systems whilst upskilling their staff.Developed 10 webi reports and showed Defra MIS team how to do advanced webi reporting.Staff trainer running Business Objects workshops once a month where I would demonstrate advanced Universe and Webi techniques that weren't covered on Business Objects courses.Developed a 'Kofax scanned documents' universe reporting system enabling the business to know which documents were electronically scanned, when, where and by whom.Identified user requirements, prototyped a draft universe to ascertain which source tables I neededIn Oracle 10G built a datamart and then using Data-Integrator produced ETL jobs that extracted from their source SQLServer 2005 database before transforming them to condensed datastructures for simplified universe design, that would lead to easier webi reporting.

Technical architect in the MIS team of Oracle DBA's, IT Systems Administrators and Analysts.Using knowledge of Designer, Webi, Deski and CMC - acted as a mentor transferring knowledge and advising other IT staffAs the primary Business Objects specialist for XI, developed an intuitive security system for managing the users and also providing securitized access to Business Objects reports.Presented Business objects demonstrations to the IT director and performed universe design introductory courses to classes of up to 10 people.Conducted universe design and administration. Ran user requirement workshops to establish reporting requirements.Ran dimensional design workshops with the MIS team and transferred knowledge of how to build datamarts.Configured Data Integrator jobs to develop the designed datamarts for converting the reporting databases in to powerful data marts that were as easy to report and responsive in their performance.

Provided expertise/consultation on an upgrade plan to the new Business Objects XI platform.Analysed their current system of 150 users and identified the key parts of their 2 tier system.
