Professionally, I have been involved in the taxation field. As a Council Member I play an active role for the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) in developing the Tax Best Practices in Malaysia. I am the Chairman of the Malaysian Budget Booklet , leading a team of more than 80 tax professionals from the Major accounting firms and professional bodies in Malaysia to publish the definitive Annual Malaysian Budget Booklet, which can be found on the desks of every finance professional in Malaysia and the Inland Revenue Board’s officers’ desks . I am the Chief Examiner of one of the papers for the professional examinations carried out by CTIM. I speak regularly on taxation matters at Conferences and Seminars and have been actively involved in carrying out workshops and seminars for the professional bodies such as the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, CPA Australia, ACCA, the Malaysian Institute of CPAs and various other organisationsI have started in a new role with Gill Private Wealth, based in Melbourne as a Tax and Compliance Officer since February 2021
