I am Harvinder Saraswat, a Delhi-based, internationally certified, and RCI licensed Rehabilitation and Counselling Psychologist, De-Addiction Therapist, and mental health speaker. As the founder of Mindcare Psychological Services & Counselling Centre, I have had the privilege of helping over 3,000 individuals on their paths to healing and growth over the past 20 years. I offer both in-person and online counselling, making support accessible wherever you are.My expertise spans a wide range of issues, including counseling for children, adolescents, and adults dealing with challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and work-life balance. I also specialize in substance use management, assertiveness training, and helping individuals establish healthy lifestyle habits, including emotional eating and self-care routines.A core part of my approach involves working closely with clients to identify their goals and overcome limiting beliefs. Together, we create actionable plans to achieve positive change.Academically, I hold an MSc in Child Development, an MA in Psychology, and Post Graduate Diplomas in Rehabilitation Psychology and Guidance and Counselling, where I was the topper of my batch. My additional training includes a Diploma in Community Mental Health from NIMHANS, and a Certificate in Basics of Addiction Management from VKN NIMHANS. I have also completed international certifications in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) from the Beck Institute, USA. I am a Certified Transactional Analyst in Psychotherapy and am currently pursuing my PhD.In addition to my clinical practice, I am dedicated to training the next generation of psychologists and serve as a master resource person for NCERT and CBSE. I also contribute to mental health initiatives like the Prime Minister's eVidya and Manodarpan projects, and share insights on mental health through my YouTube channel.My work has been recognized with several awards, including the Nation’s Pride Award (2024), Feminine Empowerment Award (2024), and Women Transforming Nation Award (2022). I also serve as a Panelist Child Psychologist for the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and regularly contribute to national conferences and live sessions on mental health.My journey is driven by a passion for helping others and making a lasting impact.
