As a DSCC Delegate, I represent my district within the California Democratic Party, voting on party leadership, endorsements, and key policies. I work with fellow delegates to ensure our community's voice is heard and help shape the party’s direction on issues that matter most to us. Through this position, I am committed to advancing the values of social justice, equity, and democratic engagement across California.

Conducted a comprehensive assessment of the South African Police Service (SAPS) Gender Equity Strategy Plan (2019-2024). Analyzed and evaluated the effectiveness of gender equity policies across key regions. The program aimed to foster transnational solidarity and promote prison reform initiatives.Thematic Analysis: Conducting an analysis on the current state of gender equality provisions in AI governance, identifying key areas for improvement and development.

Appointed by the USAC President to serve as the International Student Representative on the UCLA Academic Senate, a governing body that represents faculty in the university’s decision-making process as mandated by the Standing Orders of the Regents. Advocated for the interests of over 5,000 undergraduate international students, contributing to key discussions on academic policies, resource allocation, and student support services. Successfully lobbied for the inclusion of international student perspectives in curriculum development and campus-wide initiatives.

As a Housing Safety Ambassador, I played a critical role within the Housing Safety Department, part of the Housing Operations and Safety Division under Housing and Hospitality. My primary focus was maintaining the safety and security of the residential communities, particularly through Access Control Operations. I managed access control processes during late-night hours, ensuring that only authorized individuals entered the residence halls. I monitored lobby and entrance activities, responded to emergencies as needed, and verified the functionality of access control hardware. I worked Dykstra, Rieber, Hedrick, Sproul and Olympic Halls.

GRACE is a humanitarian organization initiative at UCLA to prevent and seek justice for the genocides o ethnic/ religious groups.

BruinsVote is a non-partisan coalition of students, student organizations and campus partners that is led by the Undergraduate Students Association Council (USAC) and supported by Student Affairs. BruinsVote Ambassadors promote civic learning and democratic engagement through voter registration, voter education, and voter mobilization.

Represented over 1600 residents of De Neve Towers Holly and Gardenia buildings within the Living Learning Communities, advocating for their needs and concerns in council meetings. Played a pivotal role in voting on policy decisions and funding allocations, securing over $30,000 in funding for community programs and initiatives. Spearheaded events and workshops that increased resident participation fostering a stronger sense of community and enhancing the overall living experience for students.

Supported a research initiative led by CAUSE with UCLA and Loyola Marymount University, with a cohort of university students to research and explore voting experiences in Asian and Pacific Islander (API) communities across Los Angeles County.Conducted in-person surveys at various community events, engaging with over 3,000 individuals and collecting 1,062 surveys to gather data on voter experiences. Analyzed and presented research findings to elected officials, highlighting community-specific challenges and proposing actionable solutions. Participated in a civic engagement project under the guidance of professors from UCLA and Loyola Marymount University. Contributed to a project that aimed to increase voter engagement and address issues within API communities, culminating in a presentation at the State Capitol.

Serving as peer leaders for incoming first-time freshmen, as well as returning students in the Bridge to BC Program. Providing transitional support for new students as they become familiar with the Bakersfield College campus, student services, resources and all the challenges and expectations of college life.

The Student Leadership Institute is an opportunity that offers leadership and skills-building training to empower participants to engage in the higher education policy process, network with professionals, and advocate on critical higher education issues that directly impact them. Through training and advocacy sessions, student leaders are equipped with information and tools to be agents of social change within their own college campus. Student Leaders will also have the opportunity to participate in virtual advocacy events and speak in front of system-wide governing Board and local community college Board meetings.
