As a startup & cloud business, doing a bit of everything. Adding to my skill set:* SQL to work out what our customers are doing and thinks we should concentrate on* React/redux - although not new, was doing a little of it before, but now it is the core of our application* Support - at Code Barrel, everyone of us are responsible to support the product. I actually find it a really rewarding & learning experience. A lot of our features are driven by support, and a lot of great reviews by how responsive we are.* Accounting - monitoring sales figures, accounts etc to help guide decisions about growth opportunities.

My role has changed lot over the years, to begin with I was a specialist in JavaScript and was given all the challenging JavaScript orientated work. Then, after constantly being frustrated waiting for the backend component to be developed before I could continue, I learnt Java. Learning Java (and soon after Scala) was one of the best things I ever did, being able to develop a feature end to end I found really liberating, I could make whatever I wanted.
