Managing analysis and projects for different aspects of the energy industry, focusing on renewable energy, power market and system, power generation technologies, battery energy storage, E-mobility, electric vehicles integration to distribution grid, distributed generation, demand response, energy efficiency, tariff design, energy economics, green hydrogen and digitalisation.

Leading commercial strategies, analysis, action plans as well as business development activities.

• Responsible for management of electricity trading&origination, risk management and sales business in Turkey as well as electricity market analysis with supporting business development activities and projects.• Wholesale and retail electricity market profitability analysis and determination of business models, opportunities and risks• Determining readiness process of the market strategies and action plans for day ahead (DAM), intraday (ID), Balancing Power Market (BPM), retail and financial market as well.• Follow up the cross border trading opportunities and OTC.• Internal readiness for short/mid term price forecast models.• Long term market analysis and power price forecast for Turkey with PLEXOS in use.• Hydro modelling and generation optimization for hydro assets in the river systems of Turkey.• Conducting business development activities to comply with the company hydro, wind and solar investment targets to reach 1.000 MW capacity in Turkey.• Preparing Turkey energy market outlooks as well as international markets (Nordpool, EU, Balkans).• Solid knowledge and experience in Nordpool and international energy markets. • Support for the related financial models and international projects.

Managing energy trading&portfolio management and sales (about 1,2 TWh/a retail consumer portfolio and 60 MW gas plant) with the team members (9 people) as well as energy market analysis.Determining the short and long term market strategies, risks and action plans. Managing the sales strategies to Day Ahead, Balancing Power Market, the retail consumers and OTC.Planning the bilateral agreements in the OTC market. Follow up the cross border trading oppurtunities. Developing origination activities such as balancing groups, creation of non-standart products, sell or buy ancillary service. Conducting the short and long term market analysisManagement of the retail consumer sales strategies and profitability analysis Determining the long and short term generation optimization for gas power plant (60 MW). Managing the gas supply deals.

• Reports directly to Sales and Marketing Director• Implementation and management of energy trading&origination and analysis activities (about 2 TWh/a retail consumer portfolios and 600 MW generation assets) • Conducting portfolio management activities with the retail market sales strategies• Managing all analyses including price offer strategies for spot market sales(Day Ahead and Balancing Power market)• Developing origination activities such as counterparty renewable asset management, balancing groups, creation of non-standart products, sell or buy ancillary service, gas and electricity barter deals.• Determining the long and short term generation optimization for thermal, hydro and wind assets.• Creating the electricity price forecast via SDDP and PLEXOS models.• Planning bilateral agreements in OTC • Contract management process with the counterparties according to Electricity/Gas market rules. • Managing the gas supply deals and daily/monthly/yearly operations for gas power plants within the framework of natural gas market regulations.• Planning and management of ancillary services in the electricity market.• The creation of budgeting and financial analysis in all activities.
