Generating new deals for Facade Engineering Company

Briefly managing all projects in hand being responsible for the coordination with the design team, following up and managing all fabricators, leading the site installation teams and the site installation process , submitting inspections to the clients and getting approvals on the work done, submitting certificates and invoices to the clients and following up the payments.

Leading , Qualifying , Training and recruiting a department of 20 Estimators/ Quantity surveyors for Pricing different sizes of projects around the region ( KSA, UAE, Qatar, Amman, Lebanon Etc... ) revising and preparing offers including technical and commercial submittals , Setting up cost coded budgets for the ERP system for proper cost control of In hand projects, interfering and coordinating with the commercial director for final sub-contract negotiations , attending meetings overseas preparing technical and commercial presentations for clients/ MCs , submitting various value engineering for several projects.

 Checking the costing of special targeted projects with the estimatorand the quantity surveyor. Costing of special projects with the coordination with GeneralManager. Coordinating with the General Manager & Sales Manager to get themost accurate Bid. Giving Directives to the Costing team to be able to fulfill with projectSpecifications and requirements. Leading the Estimation team to prepare an appropriate clear inquiryfor special items from different suppliers. Meeting with suppliers and being able to negotiate and squeeze themto meet the targeted prices of special items to be able to be competitivein our bid. Proposing fixation details for costing issue for the estimator to be ableprice different items. Choosing the correct profiles and depths for special items in order tomeet the design requirements of the project in coordination withstructural department. Attend Meetings with the clients being capable to provide technicalsolutions on the spot with adequate proposals. Coordinating with the Client / Main Contractor to resolve technicalissues, and for value engineering proposals. Propose installation details together with criteria of intendedinstallation processes for special targeted projects. Coordinating with the Technical / Structural Departments to makesure that structural and design requirement have been met in the bidand implement them into the tender drawings. Leading a team to prepare concept design proposal drawings fortargeted projects in ( Qatar, Lebanon, UAE & KSA ) with directcoordination with Alumco façade consultant. Leading a team to prepare concept Technical File for targeted projects. Assisting with my team the technical department in some projects inhand to meet the submission target. Propose aluminum Systems that fit with the requirements for special projects.

Attend Meetings with the clients being capable to provide technicalsolutions on the spot with adequate proposals. Coordinating with the client thru the sales manager to resolve technicalissues. Assisting the bidding department to choose the right system, section,details in order to get more accurate bid. Propose installation details together with criteria of intendedinstallation processes. Coordination with the bidding department to meet the projectspecifications and BOQ. Preparing 3D perspectives for Special items and projects. Proposing a variety of choices to the client to meet his technicalrequirements. Propose aluminum systems to be used, pick up the required sections,Design and issue tender aluminum drawings and details as per theproject requirements, coordinate closely with the team members andthe technical director. Continuously learn and inquire about new systems to improve personalefficiency hence the company's standards. Continuously review all the department output in relation to specialsystems Catalogues and Software (ex: Schuco / Schucal) to ensure allaspects of design and related material have been met. Coordinate between the structural department and the biddingdepartment to make sure that structural requirement have been met inthe bid and implement them into the tender drawings. Issue material takeoff, cutting lists , glass lists, assembly drawings anddetailed fabrication drawings for tender mockups according to theproject specifications and the clients requirements. (for specialprojects) Supervise the installation team giving them the exact data andrequirements to be followed for special projects in hand. Supervise indexing and filling of the tender drawings according tocompany's filing procedures.

To deliver superior design and execution of aluminum-glazed facades,in addition to a wide range of metal structures, while constantlyensuring engineering accuracy, flawless production and swift deliveryof projects. Propose aluminum systems to be used, pick up the requiredsections, issue related shop drawings and details as per projectrequirements. Coordinate closely with members of the TechnicalDept. and the Technical Manager. Design of aluminum systems and issuing of shop drawings anddetails, for the projects being executed, in coordination with theTechnical Manager and concerned Project Manager. Prepare the design team and be involved in the execution ofmaterial take offs Ensure the correct issue material lists (complete with aluminumprofiles, accessories, glass, gaskets, brackets, fixing screws, epdm,flashing, etc,…), according to the approved shop drawings. Makesure section used are available. Review all data for any descrepancy. Issue fabrication drawings and aluminum cutting lists, according tothe site measurements received from the concerned ProjectManagers for the different aluminum systems being used, andaccording to the approved shop drawings. Issue glass cutting lists. Continuously learn and inquire about new systems to improvepersonal efficiency hence the company’s standards. Continuously review all department output in relation to Schucofabrication and order catalogues to ensure all aspects of the designand related materials have been met. Submit weekly reports to Technical Director.
