Hasan Jneed is a Syrian activist and documenter in Syria. He is one of the founders of the Documentation of Violations of Jabhat al-Nusra (JNV) and the Idlib Plus Media platform. He is also the founder and executive director of the Syrian Center for Drug Control.Hasan Jneed has been involved in numerous campaigns and advocacy efforts against the threat of extremist organizations in Syria, including:• The "Children, Not Soldiers" campaign in 2016: This campaign aims to shed light on the tragedy of child recruitment, which poses a threat to the innocence and purity of childhood in Syria. It exposes the malicious exploitation of families' circumstances to turn their children into ruthless monsters, especially in northern Syria.• The "Syrians Against Extremism" campaign in 2017: This campaign is built on scientific foundations to raise awareness about the dangers of Al-Qaeda and its consistent transformations in line with political conditions. It also takes advantage of the general inclination of public opinion and aspirations, seeking to present a clear and true picture of the terrorist ideology of Al-Qaeda and its threat to Syria, especially at a time when it exploits the field conditions and manipulates alliances, deceiving the ordinary people by portraying a false face that suggests its aim is to support the oppressed Syrian people.• The "Who's Your Spouse?" campaign in 2018: This campaign addresses the phenomenon of Syrian women marrying immigrants affiliated with extremist organizations. It analyzes the structural, personal, and societal causes behind this phenomenon and identifies the symptoms that have affected the lives of various social segments where this phenomenon has spread. The main reasons that have contributed to the spread of these marriages are ignorance as a fundamental and inherent cause, accompanied by social, economic, and personal circumstances related to lack of awareness. The media also plays a role through intentional and unintentional promotion and embellishment of the image of these immigrants.• The "Missing in HTS Prisons" campaign in 2020: This grassroots civil campaign aims to exert pressure on anyone who has influence to achieve the freedom of the missing or to know their fate. It also aims to provide any moral and humanitarian support to the families of the missing in (HTS) prisons.• The "Waiting for Them" campaign in 2023: This campaign aims to mobilize support and advocacy for the issue of the missing in HTS prisons and to remind people that their families are still waiting for them.
