Currently working as District Manager for the Cardio Thrombosis Team at sanofi aventis Pakistan Ltd. Overall responsibility is to manage the team of 8 PAs assigned in different territories in the South region(Khi+Qta) and to achieve the given targets of Plavix, Clexane, Aprovel the three world wide block-buster cardiology related products of sanofi aventis, and Cordarone.Responsibilities include to keep the team motivate, get them well groomed and coach and counsel them to work effectively and efficiently in their respective territories to achieve their sales objectives and to increase the market share by implementing the marketing strategies. Some of the key highlights of my career are:Key Achievements• Successfully gives growth in Clexane from 2002 to 2010 in my area by 60% with the help of motivated, talented and hard working team and achieve the market share of about 75% in the anticoagulant therapy class according to IMS report.• Successfully make Aprovel No.1 in branded ARB market of Karachi Quetta region by achieving 35% market share according to Aug ’10 IMS report.• Achieve Best District Manager award in 2003 and win a trip with team of Northern areas for 3 nights and 4 days.• Successfully implemented and executed the marketing strategies diligently for making Plavix as no. 2 product in its class in the ever changing and challenging market of Pakistan with combined efforts of team.• Successfully assisted in developing and launching the First ACS Management Guidelines(UA/NSTEMI) of Pakistan in collaboration with AKUH Cardiology deptt. and Pakistan Cardiac Society.• Successfully assisted in developing and launching the First AMI Management Guidelines of Pakistan in collaboration with AKUH Cardiology deptt. and Pakistan Cardiac Society.• To develop relations with KOLs so that they value our products enough to prescribe maximally to increase the company’s business.
