Ceo And Software Development Team Lead
Current• Over the years, I've identified several gaps in enterprise software, analytics, web and mobile applications in banking and telecommunications industries, which turned out to be products and offerings of Nerodata.• These fields are concentrated in mobile app development (which resulted in Nerodata's mobile publishing platform, offered through 2012 until 2016 and based on iOS SDK with Objective-C) and hybrid management of fraud, risk and AML with incorporated KYC practices using artifical intelligence and optional inference/sequential rules, which Nerodata still offers as Nero Fraud Gate to banks and payment facilitators (PFs).• Nerodata's mobile publishing platform is preferred by 2 newspapers with weekly sales of at least 130,000. Payment platform (offered under the the name of Nero Payment Canvas) is preferred by one prepaid card provider (located in Malta) and 3 PFs located in United Kingdom, and Turkey.• Developing solutions for Nerodata, I had the chance to lead a software development team of up to 6 people at times. Nerodata's main technology stack is based on Java and Spring Framework (mainly Spring Boot), and incorporates technologies ranging from runtime rule and decision engines to various machine learning algorithms and neural networks.• I worked on Nerodata's platform compatibility with multiple database providers ranging from Oracle 11G to MySQL and PostgreSQL. Integrations are partially developed by myself, if not, led by myself. I've also had hands on experience in Elasticsearch, Kibana and Logstash (ELK stack) integration of the platform.• Apart from my hands on experience in software development, I assumed full responsibility in P&L, interviewed/recruited software developers and managed development costs. My main differentiating strength is the ability to map business requirements and domain-specific needs (mainly set by non-technical people) into software specifications, then architect scalable, performant and fault-tolerant systems.
