I also led a team to create a data-processing pipeline for heart-rate variability during fMRI and led the retinal-scanning initiative in the lab (including data-processing and SOP for technicians).My other responsibilities included:- Developing a real-time plot read-out of a patient's HR, respiration, and pulse-oximetry by intercepting data from their ongoing MRI.- Conducting quality control assessments for over 200+ patients' ECG and retinal-scan data using Excel.- Performing daily patient assessments which included pain ratings and medication reports, among others.- REDCap data-logging and quality-assurance.- Delivering weekly updates on patient progress, adverse events, enrolment, and eye scans often using Excel or Python plots.- Creating a Standard Operating Procedure for lab OCT retinal scanner.- Scanning patient retinas using OCT for thickness analyses.- Acting as a Level 1 MR safety officer: accompanying patients to their scans, presenting to them stimuli for fMRI, & reporting on fMRI biometrics.- Creating a detailed inventory of all laboratory computers including their location, available software, and any existing technical issues.- Developing & implementing data-processing pipelines across multiple toolboxes in Python, MATLAB, & R.
