Silencio rewarded users for providing precise, hyperlocal noise pollution measurements, which addressed the extensive environmental, social, and economic effects of noise pollution. As Head of Science at Silencio and with the assistance of a distinguished group of advisors, we developed state-of-the-art sound analysis algorithms for both iOS and Android platforms with the goal of establishing the largest citizen science initiative in the world.

A passive harmonic resonator is developed using an analytical approach and numerically and experimentally validated in order to control low frequency harmonic noise. Additionally, an impedance tube tool was constructed for measuring the resonator's acoustic performance at low frequencies.

Assessment and control of ICE sound emissions in accordance with international standards. The work included the development of acoustic enclosures that met stringent international standards, as well as the numerical and experimental evaluation of various models. The sound-absorbing performance of sound-absorbing materials was also determined using impedance tube testing, ensuring compliance with global standards.
