I would describe myself as a hard-working individual with a high emphasis on self-improvement through continuous higher education. I am currently a graduate from the University of Strathclyde – Business School having completed the degree program: Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) awarded with Distinction. This was preceded with a Bachelor in Business Administration achieved from the New York Institute of Technology, Diploma in Accounting and Business from the ACCA, and an International Baccalaureate diploma issued from completing studies at the Ibn Khuldoon National School.I currently have over 14 years of work experience with a majority spent in senior roles within the Finance, Operations & Business Development departments spanning across the following fields: Advertising/Marketing, Logistics/Supply Chain Management and currently working within the Auction industry based in the Kingdom of Bahrain.Having started as a Junior Accountant at my first full-time professional job, I successfully managed to progress through the ranks to the Finance Manager position. This was shortly followed by a move to a new start-up namely ‘From6 Communications Co Wll’ where I was entrusted with building the entire finance department and successfully continued at this role for approximately 5 years. A change of industry took me across the causeway from Bahrain into Saudi Arabia joining a relatively young Logistics and Supply Chain Management company. This role expanded from the initial Finance & Business Manager role to leading the entire company as the Operations & Business Development Manager. After a successful stint within the business which included revenue growth year-on-year, full-scale rebrand, new website and mobile application launch – I decided to take a new challenge within the Auction Industry as a Finance Manager.Some key contributions across various business functions would be the launch of a mobile application (both Android and Apple platforms) to complement business operations and growing market share, setting up management information systems from scratch to fully accommodate all financial and accounting requirements, utilizing information technology systems to connect departments reducing operation delays and improve efficiency across the board, improving the Sales processes which starts with empowering individuals to make well-informed business decisions. Strategizing and implementing business processes that achieved ISO certifications (9001:2015 & 45001:2018) within the logistics field in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
