My responsibilities revolved around acquisition, retention and development of corporate clientele with complex lending and international financing needs. I was involved with the origination and coverage including:Managing Stakeholders’ expectations side by side with Credit Risk, Compliance Risks and Operational risks;Engaging with clients on strategic discussions relevant to business expansion, diversification, penetration, geographical growth and other matters of vital importance;Identifying clients' needs in line with market dynamics and economy and advising appropriate investment banking, credit lending, Trade, Receivable finance, PCM and Treasury solutions.Coordinating cross-border coverage for international customers across multiple time-zones, cultures, languages, and regulatory environments. Acting as the first point of contact, Global Relationship Manager for clients;Coordinating with product partners to ensure that the most appropriate solutions are made available to the clients. These needs were often complex and international in nature involving structured products and engaging Investment Bank, Corporate Finance or other specialist units.

At Mashreq, I managed Corporate relationships by up and cross-selling complete product suite of Corporate and investment banking. My job responsibilities encompassed enhancement of existing commercial portfolio on a regional level by adhering to credit and risk policies, soliciting of new relationships and training of juniors.I managed to source and develop structured finance deals which maximized the revenue for the division and for the bank. This includes complex deal of project financing and an M&A deal.
