CurrentGEICO is the second largest auto insurer in the USA and part of the Berkshire Hathaway group of companies and provides coverage to more than 24 million vehicles. At GEICO:I manage the Claims, Professional Services, and IT Category Procurement & Supplier Management with $2 Billion+ in collective annual spend.I collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute on divisional strategies for spend and attaining savings goals.I draft, negotiate, and administer all forms of Contracts, Agreements, Software License Agreements, Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Data Security Agreements, in compliance with corporate and legal policies, and organizational objectives. I oversee contract renewals and re-negotiations. I source suppliers and manage deals through a systematic RFP process “cradle to grave”I regularly review supplier performance against business requirements to identify gaps and create recovery plans and manage supplier accountability on deliverables through Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).I hold suppliers accountable to meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs)I analyze spend compliance and team performance against goals and objectives and identify opportunities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. I manage the contingent workforce at GEICO through strategic procurement and sourcing.I save the company $ by getting the best deals for the best price with the best suppliers with the best delivery.I am able to do all this by building, leading, and managing a high performance team that is ready to work together and succeed.
