Force Level Manager,Solely responsible for all Reserve Force Administration that enters and exits the Executive Front office of the headquarters staff. Serving as the secretary to the Chief of Staff, Executive Director, and Rear Admiral, I meticulously manage all administrative matters, Weekly Department head briefings/meetings, and technical components for all Echelon III/IV level Conferences to include eight Reserve Region Component Command, Commanders. In addition, I Coordinate with the Flag Secretary at the pentagon (OCNR) to ensure that the Chief of Navy Reserves’ Schedule reflects directly as my Rear Admirals’ does. Further, at the beginning of my contract, I worked in the training Department as an administrative assistant with no prior knowledge to how the military worked and what its basic functions were. With divine superior intellect, and a tenacious work ethic, I Eventually became a subject matter expert within my job, and other co-workers. I then started running the Maritime Staff Operators Course, Maritime Operational Planners Course, and the Joint professional Military Education Course. This was a tremendous amount of responsibility, and I was running all these programs alone. Needless to say, I expeditiously executed an undercut $2M budget while ensuring all quotas were met. This was instrumental in my matriculation to the executive suite. Visionary leader,As the president of many associations and organizations, I find that my purpose is to bring the best out of others. While being put in a position to lead and implement change, I do so in a manner that not only effects what the organization stands for; but for the welfare of the people in it. What good is a leader if those around him/her aren’t succeeding? I live by the motto “one for all, all for one”. As a leader, it is imperative to take care of my people, build interpersonal relationships, and ensure the work life balance is never off. In retrospect, I expect a group of followers to be very mission oriented, and doing everything in their power to achieve the ultimate goal. However, this all depends on the type of work environment a leader fosters. It’s up to a leader to decide the work environments fate; although, “all for one, one for all” works inversely in nature. My leadership skills are unparalleled, and well beyond ones time. If given the opportunity, I can make mountains move, and rivers part into oceans.
