1. Served for 33 years (1986-2019) in Bangladesh Army as officer, retired as Brigadier General, commanded Infantry Battalion and Brigades, had been operational staff officer at Battalion, Brigade and Division Headquarters. Commanded troops in UN mission in Cambodia (1991-1993) and Ivory Coast (2010-2011). Commanded troops in counter insurgency environment for seven and half years and achieved Commendation medal of Chief of Army Staff. Had been the Chief Instructor of the School of Military Intelligence. Had been the Director General of Bangladesh Armed Services Board, looking after the welfare of retired military personnel. Had publications in Bangladesh Army Journal. Graduate from Staff College and National Defence College Bangladesh and National Defence University, USA. 2. During my service tenure in the Army, I worked mostly in the planning and conduct of combat operations of Bangladesh Army and also in UN missions. Has wide experience to train and work together with various armies specially US military. I have also led intelligence unit under Directorate General of Forces Intelligence and instructed for the intelligence training of officers and men. Planned and conducted special operations exercises with US Special Forces.3. During the course at National Defence College Bangladesh, I had in-depth study and research over the development studies of Bangladesh for M-phil thesis named 'Human Resource Development Strategy for Bangladesh.' The status of Bangladesh in achievement of MDG and SDG, educational reforms aligned with job market and dynamic planning and projects needed to be implemented to draw demographic dividends were vital recommendation of the thesis.4. Served as Chief Executive Officer, Sena Hotel Developments Limited, owner of Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View (May 2019- Sep 2022). During this time, had 24/7 interaction with the Hotel Manager/General Manager/ Cluster General Manager regarding operation, business, finance, maintenance and security. During the absence of Hotel Manager/ General Manager/ Cluster General Manager, for a period of around one and half year, I had to lead the team and result was outstandingly positive. I had to also communicate with Radisson Hotel Group regarding the selection and employment of General Manager, maintenance issue and outward remittance. 5. Recently has served as the Executive Director in Sharmin Group since Sep 23 to Feb 24 and was responsible for Apparels, washing and dyeing and embroidery and printing factories.
