Growing up in the heart of the Middle East, I developed a profound fascination for geopolitics and a commitment to amplifying diverse voices on the global stage. Currently pursuing a dual major in International Affairs and Economics at Lewis & Clark College, I integrate data-driven economic analysis with international affairs theory to explore the intersection of politics and economies, with a particular focus on Middle Eastern geopolitics and its global impact.Studying abroad at Charles University in Prague, where my coursework centers on energy economics, has deepened my interest in renewable energy policy. This focus, alongside Lewis & Clark’s emphasis on sustainability, has allowed me to bridge my dual majors in ways that address pressing global challenges. I’m particularly drawn to foreign policy and policy analysis as tools to drive impactful change. Additionally, my exploration of orientalism remains a key passion, shaping my approach to global issues and enhancing my perspective on international relations.
