I gained professional experience in Spain (Volkswagen Navarra), USA (advertising agency Avrett Free Ginsberg), Switzerland (among others for Pelé Sports and InterArt of Cashmere World AG) and Germany (among others adidas, Nike Germany and Autostadt). After training as a forwarding agent (IHK Lüneburg-Wolfsburg 1996 - 1999), he studied sports management with a focus on the sporting goods industry and marketing (FH Ostfalia 2001 - 2006) and completed an adult continuing education course in social media (TH Köln 2013). Already in my youth the entrepreneur slumbered in me. So for years I delivered various newspapers, magazines and newsletters to spice up my pocket money. During my studies I founded the YESS GbR (2002 - 2006) already in the 2nd semester and worked in the sports and event industry. After my studies I started as a freelancer with Ingo Bartels | Sports Consulting (2006 - 2011) and worked among others for the adidas project Porsche Design Sport and organized sports events. In 2012, I started my sports marketing agency TalentEntdecker in Switzerland, where I marketed Sven Knipphals, among others. A year later I went back to my hometown Wolfsburg and started to specialize in social media and online marketing with my agency bartels. In the meantime, we have a staff of between three and six employees.From 2015 to 2019, I was managing partner of BK Gesundheitskonzepte GmbH and wanted to use the concept of ultrasound, exercise and nutrition, to reduce the hurdle to a healthier life and offer overweight people an easier way to reach their desired weight.With the Corona pandemic, I ended TalentEntdecker at the end of 2020, as marketing without events and competitions was simply impossible. But the pandemic also opened new doors again, so from June 2021 to December 2022 I was the owner of test centers in Wolfsburg and the district of Gifhorn. At peak times, I had six permanent employees and around 40 temporary staff. In May 2023, I founded ARQ GmbH. An energy agency that specializes in promoting sustainable construction and refurbishing existing buildings. Here, I am the managing partner together with Thomas Döring.
