About Hasitha Eranda
I'm a physicist with 8+ years of experience in data analysis and data science, currently working on applications of Machine Learning Models in healthcare and other real-life scenarios. I recently completed my PhD in Physics from UC Irvine where I started my journey in data science from computational astrophysics. While I was working on cosmological simulations for my PhD, I developed a strong passion for applying mathematical modeling and machine learning to implement novel algorithms and find solutions to real-life problems. I'm excited by the potential of data science and its applications in solving unsolved problems and positively impacting people's lives.
