I have done my Master of Laws (LLM) and submitted dissertation on the topic “Gender Based Harassment, Violence and Degrading Treatment against the People of Third Gender in Pakistan: A Serious Concern of Human Rights and Constitution”. My study in LLM ventures to reveal rights of third gender persons under International and National laws of Pakistan and has also described basic information about third gender. The study will also highlight the ways in which third gender is discriminated by discussing the cases of discrimination and violence towards the third gender in Pakistan and moreover critically evaluate the existing legal framework in Pakistan for the protection of rights of third gender.
