The role is responsible for creating, implementing, testing and optimizing systems, practices, and processes throughout the business and across all departments.

Lead Operational and Manufacturing strategy for MOVE at the board level.

I joined MOVE Systems at the closing of its series A to create operational structure throughout the organization as the VP of Operations and took on the role of COO at the end of 2017. MOVE Systems provides a turnkey, sustainable mobile cart platform. Since 2014, MOVE has helped franchise brands like Dunkin’, Nathan’s Famous, and countless independent operators have a cost-efficient way to reach customers in locations beyond the limits of their brick-and-mortar stores. MOVE gives F&B brands a cost-effective access to the mobile business market, led by an exceptional management team with unique market insights. You provide the concept, we provide the rest: design, build, distributed-operations, logistics, training, and quality assurance.

Led the vertically integrated operations of MOVE Systems between manufacturing and business operations. At scale MOVE operated over 65 multi-unit mobile food and beverage concepts in NYC and had extended its sales operations across six states. Established operational standards, led recruitment, training, and development of a seasonal workforce required to support the complex, high-touch, nature of running a vertically integrated mobile food organization in NYC. Implemented a point of sales system (ShopKeep) for MOVE commissary and wholesale; a CMMS (eMaint) for the repair and maintenance/services organization for the fleet; a MMS and PLM (Arena Solutions) system for the product development and manufacturing; and deployed a mobile payment processing platform (CloverGo) for the current fleet of 60+ mobile units operating in NYC. Partnering with the CEO and reporting directly to the board, my role was the operational leader at MOVE Systems, and responsible for managing all stake holder relationships (investors, municipalities, suppliers, and the internal organization) in that capacity.
