The Feasibility Studies and Preparation of the Detailed Design for the Coastal Embankment Improvement Project, Phase-II is an initiative by the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) and the World Bank aimed at improving coastal embankments in Bangladesh. The project involves conducting feasibility studies to assess the viability of the proposed improvements and preparing detailed designs for the implementation of the project. The focus of the project is on strengthening the coastal embankments and protecting the coastal communities against floods and other water-related disasters. The project is expected to increase the resilience of coastal communities to the impacts of climate change and natural disasters, thereby reducing social, economic, and environmental losses. The World Bank is providing the necessary financial support for the successful completion of the project.
