I am a penultimate year mechanical engineering student at the University of Canterbury with diverse experience working in teams on complex problems. This includes working in an engineering research team at Auckland Bioengineering on optimising lung modelling based on CT scans of patients suffering radiation induced lung disease. I further have experience in engineering consultancy for mechanical services in infrastructure with Aurecon. This includes design work on the hydraulic and HVAC systems in transport stations, hospitals and hotels. Through my work within these teams, my university courses and personal projects, I've learned to use relevant programs and software such as Solidworks, Fusion 360, Python, IESVE, Slicer 3D and RevitI have further collaborative experience in several volunteering projects, including as a logistics officer for the University of Canterbury Student Volunteer Army and as a team leader for the collaboration between the science education non-profit, House of Science, and the AUT consultancy program, Outside the Square.
