As the founder of RGB JUTE, I lead a social enterprise that manufactures and exports sustainable handicrafts and basketry items made out of natural materials, such as sea grass, jute, date and palm leaf, cane, and bamboo. I started RGB JUTE in 2019 with a vision to assist impoverished and disadvantaged rural artisan families to attain self-sufficiency and to introduce traditional craftsmanship to the modern world.With a background in industrial and production engineering from Military Institute of Science and Technology, I apply my skills in market research, marketing analytics, negotiation and conflict resolution, and strategic business management to create and deliver high-quality and eco-friendly products that meet the needs and preferences of our global customers. I also leverage my expertise in production planning to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes and ensure the timely and smooth delivery of our orders. I am passionate about promoting environmental and social responsibility through enhancing the skills of rural artisans in Bangladesh and offering them fair wages and opportunities.
