I am a passionate innovator in the field of Drug Development, with over a year of hands-on experience in natural product-based Anticancer drug development. My work has been driven by the belief that we can revolutionize healthcare through the fusion of natural product-based therapeutics and cutting-edge scientific advancements. From working with Sri Lanka’s endemic flora to conducting 𝘪𝘯 𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘳𝘰 and 𝘪𝘯 𝘷𝘪𝘷𝘰 experiments, I have applied advanced technologies like Nanotechnology to enhance Drug Delivery systems, while also leveraging computational tools such as Structural Bioinformatics and Computational Drug Discovery to optimize and accelerate the identification of novel Drug Leads. By integrating natural product-based therapeutics with breakthroughs in Nanotechnology, Bioinformatics, and Computational Modeling, I strive to develop innovative, evidence-based drugs to tackle some of the world’s most challenging diseases, particularly cancer. Currently pursuing an MSc in Bioinformatics at the University of Bristol, I am expanding my expertise in harnessing Computational solutions and Artificial Intelligence to further accelerate drug discovery, streamline development, and improve patient outcomes.My vision is to drive innovation in a new era of integrative, technology-driven healthcare, where natural product-based therapeutics are optimized and globally accessible, paving the way for improved health and reduced healthcare disparities worldwide.
