1. To act as the financial authority to accept or reject credit applications. In extending credit to businesses, review financial reports submitted by the applicant, interview representatives of the businesses, and review credit reports to determine the records of the firms in repaying debts. 2. Computation of the accounts receivables. 3. To act as a first point of contact for prompt query resolution in relation to debtor accounts, liaising with other internal departments as necessary to correct any erroneous entries and minimize the debt outstanding period4. To assess high risk accounts and to minimize bad debt and reduce oldest debt as quickly as possible5. Responsible for managing key business accounts, controlling cash, reconciling accounts and proactively chasing high value debt.6. Developing policies and procedures to improve collection methods and reduce outstanding debtors.7. Preparing the monthly debtors and shareholders reports.8. Visiting customers when required.9. Getting the monthly collection of debtors and to prepare the debtors reconciliation statement10. Preparing reports for monthly accounts.
