I have been the Deputy Gaming Commissioner for the Chickasaw Nation Office of the Gaming Commissioner (CNOGC) for the past 16 years and have worked for the Chickasaw Nation a total of 34 years. Before joining the CNOGC, I worked for the Chickasaw Nation education department as the Johnson O'Malley coordinatior and as youth coordinator. When I first joined the Gaming Commission, the Chickasaw Nation only had four bingo halls. Today we have 20 gaming facilities including WinStar, one of the largest gaming facilities in the world. Only two of these gaming facilities now have live bingo. Three years ago, our tribal legislature passed our first Professional Boxing and Licensing act and delegated all of its regulatory authority to the CNOGC. Today, majority of my time is regulating the combative sports events that are happening within the Chickasaw Nation's jurisdiction.

  1. Ensures that all applicable tribal, Federal,and State gaming laws and regulations ard enfored.2. Ensures Monitoring and observation of the Chickasaw Nation gaming is performed on a daily basis through reports and observation.3. Ensures Background investigations ard performed as required by the Chickasaw Code, Tribal-State Gaming compact.4. Review daily summaries of all gaming facilities and any report/osbservations performed by Chief Field Investigators, Field Investigators, Licensing Investigators, Background & Licensing Officer or Vendor Licensing officer.5. Ensure the general public, vendors and gaming complaints are properly resolved in a timely manner.6. Regulating combative sport events within the Chickasaw Nation.
