● Prepare clear and concise estimates by gathering all necessary information, including prints and specs, and RFI’s, defining feasibility of projects and profitability. ● Determines quantity of materials, labor, and tool/equipment needs and calculates cost thereof utilizing established standards, i.e., RS Means, Engineer Support System Estimating Modul. ● Prepares package for Project Branch implementation of Construction Services. To include sketches and/or drawings and bill of materials listings. ● Prepares SOW to include contract specifications and drawings for projects being subcontracted to commercial vendors. ● Establishes initial schedule for work performance ● Reports problems encountered during the project process to the supervisor. ● Prior Experience in Quoting & Estimating. ● Maintains historical files of completed projects. ● The Project Estimator shall develop cost performance metrics and track projects’ burn rates to help improve accuracy of future estimates. ● Apply appropriate pricing and create quote
