As the coordinator at KS3 I work closely with the Humanities Team delivering and tailoring National Curriculum to meet the needs of ESL students of differentiated abilities and varied backgrounds. I contribute to the positive ethos of the school, putting students first by demonstrating energy, vision and creativity. As the Coordinator for KS4 Edexcel IGCSE programme I am responsible for liaising with Edexcel relating to changes and implementation of specification and effective delivery of IGCSE subjects. Duties:• Leading and structuring a team for the successful delivery of Humanities, Business, Global citizenship & Islamic Studies at KS3 and KS4• Teaching Geography in KS3 to SEN Students.• Planning, preparing & delivering IGCSE Business Studies, Geography, Global Citizenship and Islamic Studies to KS4 Boys & Girls• Tailoring and adapting all IGCSE content to suit the needs of individual students.• Recording and monitoring a student’s attendance.• Report writing and liaising with parents/ Guardians on a regular basis to feedback progress. Maintaining and developing relationships with parents and stakeholders. • Marking work and giving appropriate feedback to pupils.• Devising and writing new curriculum materials.• Preparing pupils for external examinations.• Managing pupils’ behaviour in the classroom and on school premises with a variety of initiatives that I introduced such as classdojo.com.• Administrating examinations.
