GOVERNANCE & OPERATIONS• Develop following Act / Regulations, as envisaged under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002; in order to ensure the security in e-transactions as under:1 Certification Service Providers’ (CSPs) Accreditation Regulations, 2023.2 Information Security Audit Regulations, 2023.3 Crypto Apparatus Accreditation Regulations, 2023.4 ECAC Business Regulations, 2023.• Develop Security Policy Manual for National PKI of Pakistan.• Develop the PKI framework documentation (CP, CPS, BC/DR) as per WebTrust standards and CA Browser Forum for Global Recognition of National PKI. • Conduct gap analysis of SMIME, SSL, Client Authentication, Code Signing, time stamping and network security WebTrust Standards and liaison with internal and external WebTrust auditors. • Develop key ceremony scripts for software updates, patch management, operational ceremonies (CA certificate management, Root CA CRL update).• Supervise & Monitor IT Security Audit of CSPs for accreditation in compliance with ISO-27001, ISO-21188, ISO-27002, ISO-27006 & Certification Practice Statement.• Recommend and advise appropriate authorities like SECP, SBP, PTA, FBR, NADRA, ECP, Ministry of Commerce etc., for enforcement and implementation of Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002.• Own the design of the PKI and signature framework, continuous future proofing of the solution framework and related standards. Maintain this technical blueprint and push as required to other relevant internal and external stakeholders.• Work closely with IT operations and PKI operations roles to maintain the PKI framework protected against relevant threats and risks, and operate as a consultant for these teams for any matter related to PKI and digital signatures. • Focal person for Root Enrollment Programs of Browsers and Operating Systems (i.e. Google Chrome, Apple’s Safari & Mozilla’s Firefox for Browsers, Microsoft’s Windows & Apple’s Mac for Operating Systems and Adobe for Document Signing).

• Implementation of first National Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) of Pakistan (National Root Certification Authority).• Revision / amendment of Act (Electronic Transactions Ordinance-2002) and Regulations.• Grant and renew accreditation certificates to Certification Service Providers (CSPs).• Monitor & ensure compliances by Accredited CSPs.• Encourage uniformity of standards and practices such as PKI 21188, ISO 27001, ISO 27002 and ISO 27006.

Provision and Technical support of PTCL Triple play services (PSTN, Broadband & IPTV)• Operation & maintenance of voice & Data services for Corporate customers including Banking, Exploration & Production and other Public and Private Sector Organizations.• Configuration and troubleshooting of Wireline and Wireless Transport (SDH, DWDM, DRS, VSAT) and Access NE’s (DSLAMs / MSAG) and their commissioning.• 24x7 NOC Operations for effective customer complaint handling and L2, L3 troubleshooting.• Coordination with Core Team and OSS team to resolve broadband & IPTV issues.• Monitor network traffic and usage to ensure continued integrity and optimal network performance.• Perform as lead project coordinator in all phases of project like initiating, planning, execution till closure.• Making evaluations, analysis on performance management, presentations & meetings with higher management.• Customer support through CRM and IPCC and ensuring SLAs / SOPs.GPON Network• Configuration and maintenance of triple play services for GPON network of different vendors (Fiber home/Huawei/ZTE/Nokia). • Hands on experience on Fiberhome AN5116-06B OLTs equipment via UNM2000, ZTE C300M, C300 OLT equipment via U31, Huawei SmartAX MA5600T equipment via Huawei U2000 and Nokia Alcatel-Lucent ISAM 7302 (OLT/MSAG) equipment via AMS for GPON Network.• Installation, Configuration and Commissioning of ONTs (ZTE ONT: F660 V5.2, Huawei ONT: HG8245H and Fiberhome ONT: AN5506-04-F1).• Fully responsible for FTTH/GPON project from initiating to closing. (Initiating design, planning and execution, monitoring & controlling of FTTH projects for new development and migration of legacy networks).• Providing Level2 and Level3 support for solving complex technical problems, as well as working on customer interface.• Arrange and attend reported outages.• Acceptance, Configuration and Troubleshooting of Access Network Equipment, GPON, MSAN, and SDH through GUI NMS and command line interface.

TRANSMISSION (SDH/DWDM) Network• Responsible for National/Metro Core Optical Transport network design and planning, implementation, integration and migration.• To analyze network performance, resolve complex network problems, optimize network architecture and perform acceptance tests.• Back haul planning and implementation of MSAG/DSLAM/WLL traffic in a most optimized way for efficient and uninterrupted delivery of services.• Working skills on Huawei Transmission Line Products (OSN 7500, OSN 3500, OSN 6800) for all types of service configurations, troubleshooting, performance monitoring and analysis using iManager T2000 and U2000 NMS platforms.• Operations and maintenance of Metro Core Transmission Network comprising of ZTE SDH series (ZXMP S385, ZXMP S380/390, ZXMP S330/320, ZXMP S200) and DWDM series (ZXMP M800) products.• Cross connect capacity enhancement of SDH Nodes and upgradation from 2.5G to 10G links in metro networks to cater the need of bandwidth for IPTV & BB customers.• Incident management with TeMIP and OVSD software toolsOFAN/MSAN Network• Configuration, Operation and maintenance experience on ZTE MSAG ZXMSAG 5200, Huawei DSLAM MA5600 and MSAN UA5000 and Alcatel ISAM for fault localization and integrity of access services.• Configuration and troubleshooting of xDSL, IPTV multicast services for broadband customers on DSLAM/MSAG.• Installation, Configuration and Commissioning of ZTE Optical Fiber Access Network (OFAN/FTTC) Equipment such as Integrated Access Service Dispatching Unit ZXA10 U300 (ONU), ZXUMS E100-NMS Software T600+S300 (OLT).• Monitoring and troubleshooting of services using ZTE ZXUMS E100 & E300, Net Numen U31 and iManager U2000 UMS platforms.
