Trade Performance Specialist (Business Controller)
CurrentAs the Trade Performance specialist, I am responsible for various aspects of overseeing the credit control, performance management, and documentation process for the Ex-Europe operation, which generates a revenue of over USD 300 million. Here are the key points:• In charge of the monthly closing process for voyage performance, ensuring accurate and timely assessment of performance metrics.• Conducting data analysis within the trade team to identify opportunities for trade improvement and driving initiatives to enhance trade performance.• Financial Planning and Reporting: My role involves preparing monthly estimates of profit and loss (P/L) and sharing valuable insights with the team. I also collaborate with regional teams to consolidate and align 18-month rolling budget and forecast estimates, which are then communicated to the headquarters for reporting purposes.In a holistic perspective, my responsibilities encompass the supervision of trade performance management, with a focus on maintaining financial accuracy and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, I leverage advanced business intelligence tools to drive improvements in the profitability and operational efficiency of the Ex-Europe operation.
