Docklands Lodge also was a victim of the complete shutdown of the travel industry.We quickly turned our attention to welfare and social care and opened our doors to the Rough Sleepers. The 8 month journey was turbulent, however, we assembled a resilient team and managed to deliver the service to a high standard. The local authority were well impressed, and we started to negotiate terms to continue providing the service to LBTH Emergency Accommodations Team.We are now a strong team of 15, delivering a partnership contract since January 2021. We are one of very few success stories of Covid-19.
