Budget Function• Reviewing and consolidating budgetary estimates along with their comparisons with actual expenditures.• Allocating budget to underlying regions/ GMs (zone) and budgetary analysis based on various parameters.• Sending to HQs the details of budget allocation to Sub-Top Fund Centers (STFC) for uploading in budget Module.• Reviewing the budget expenses of fund centers (FCs) and advising HQs/STFCs for inter-transfer of budget for proper/timely utilization.• Controlling and monitoring zone’s expenditure against allocated budgets to ensure the costs are kept within acceptable limits.• Coordinating with all departments to ensure compliance with budget guidelines and procedures.• Liaison with ERP team for cost centers mappings. Payment Function• Preparation of Financial Reports for Head Office/Senior Management.• Pre-Audit of all invoices before payment with respect to company policies & agreements with vendors.• Booking of WLL products revenue and its reconciliation with stock consumption reports.• Disbursement of Staff salaries being the payment user in SAP FICO Module.• Assisting the cost management wing in the up gradation of chart of account and accounting of regional cost centers.• Verification and analysis of regional accounts receivables/payables ledger as per company policy and authority limit.• Dealing with banks and preparation of monthly bank reconciliation.• Handling various auditing tasks i.e. (half year & annual stock taking) and analysis of various reports i.e. (vehicle/generators fuel consumption & electricity consumption)• Analysis of monthly accrual and its adjustment/payments.• Respond to different provident fund queries of employees and management.• Approval of employee’s advances and their recovery as per provident funds rules of the PTCL.• Dealing with departmental and external auditors and reply the queries raised by auditors

• Compilation of information, updating records and preparing accounts relating to different departments and branches• Coordinating with Auditors and requisition of financial information from different departments for the purpose of Audit.• Coordinating and communicating with branches across the country regarding financial statement matters.
