Dr. Sassi has over 40 years' experience in structural dynamics, structural mechanics, and earthquake engineering. He is an innovative and detail-oriented senior design / project manager, distinguished by his interpersonal skills and exceptional in his ability to balance client priorities and support staff on multiple, concurrent projects. He is an expert in the analysis, design review, and evaluation of buildings and structures subjected to dynamic loading such as earthquake, explosives, and wind. Dr. Sassi takes a hands-on approach in his technical skills and is passionate about green building and sustainable design. Strong leadership and effective management are key elements of Dr. Sassi's success. These qualities have directly contributed to the completion of multiple projects and have saved a single client over $100 million in value engineering, code interpretation, and project approvals efficiency.Dr. Sassi served as an Adjunct Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Southern California and Cal Poly Pomona and has taught engineering and mathematics for over 29 years. He holds a PhD in structural and earthquake engineering from the University of Southern California (USC) and a master degree in Aircraft Structures from University of California (UCB).
