About Hassan Shahriar

I believe we are shaped by a handful of defining moments in our lives. Mine includes watching the TED talk by William Kamkawamba (boy who harnessed the wind), listening to Francis Mallmann (renowned chef) talk about growth at the edge of uncertainty, and seeing my mother creatively empower families to overcome poverty in rural Bangladesh. Kamkawamba inspired me to pursue renewables, Mallmann encouraged me to become an entrepreneur and my mother made me believe in myself. I spent the last decade influencing and enabling the buildout of several wind farms in Canada. I take pride in doing what I can to solve the myriad of challenges typically faced by renewable power projects. Today, my focus is to solve the growing technical challenges for generators, distributors and consumers as they navigate energy transition. How can we make energy transition easy for these key stakeholders?
