Job Description: my duties and responsibilities include: Managing and directing of a team of Engineers for the construction supervision projects. Providing technical and contractual advice for all of the projects, as well as resource management. Responsible for overall project delivery and client liaison. Building a trusted relationship with the management team and with the client’s counterpart staff. Establishing an appropriate working relationship with the contractors. Monitoring progress of construction against the program, and takes steps to ensure the program is achieved. Ensuring that the project quality control procedures are used for the Constructions supervision works and monitors it for improvement. . Achieving high client satisfaction by sticking to deadlines and providing detailed updates.. Motivating sites teams to achieve quality results against construction deadlines..Preparing monthly & bimonthly progress reports , showing activities have done, problems-solving and proposals..Checking and measuring the performed work and record and display progress vs programmed work.

Job Description: my duties and responsibilities include:  Responsibility for overall construction management of the project including liaising with client, consultant; coordinating and leading subcontractors and venders; supervising members of the project team; and overseeing project implementation , reporting, and monitoring, and evaluation; project completion and delivery. Managing daily construction activities and ensuring that they meet technical specifications, requirements in budget, time and quality. Monitoring the site progress and making recommendations to increase or maintain performance. prioritizing work within the overall project schedule , to confirm work are being carried out in accordance with strategy, standards, policies, procedures and best practices. Liaise with the local authorities for the road obstructions. Document the condition of the existing property that might be damaged by the work. Make sure all existing structures, property, utilities and landscaping are properly protected Ensuring safety best practices are maintained.  Preparing the timely payment of invoices (for both Ministry of Transport & Sub- Contractor). Preparing daily, weekly & monthly progress report showing activities done, problems & solving, and proposals . Member of the primary & final submission committee of the project created by Transport Ministry.

• Reviewing materials and equipment to ensure that they are in accordance with the specifications; • Reviewing shop drawings to ensure that they are in accordance with the design;• Ensuring that the work complying with the requirements of the specification;• Ensuring that the contractors approved shop drawings, method statements, quality control procedures and safety plans are being implemented on site.• Participating in the Weekly Earthwork Progress Meetings between the Contractor, Engineer and Client;• Managing and allocating the duties of the site engineers and;• Leading and training of younger engineers up to (20) site engineers.

• Supervision, monitoring and controlling of the embankment dam construction activities (such as foundation excavation, foundation treatment, and filling of clay core, clean sand filters, as raised river gravel, crushed – screen gravel in drain zones, and rocks as rip-rap); • Ensuring that the work complies with the requirements of the specification;• Participating in the Weekly Earthwork Progress Meetings between the Contractor, Engineer and Client;• Preparing and organizing the Monthly Progress Report of the Left Bank Embankment;• Managing and allocating the duties of the site engineers and;• Leading and training of younger engineers.

• Construction and quality control of Concrete Face Slab Rock-fill Dam (CFRD) including transition materials, rock-fill and concrete works (face slabs, plinth, dental concrete, parapet walls, retaining walls and transition structures).• Construction and quality control of Earth Core Rock-fill Dam (ECRD) and two earth core rock-fill Dykes including clay core, filters and rock-fill.• Construction supervision of permanent and temporary cofferdams.• Contributing to the regularly progress reports for the embankment dam construction and;• Maintain records of inspections made, tests performed, work executed and copy of the ‘’Quality Inspection & Acceptance Form’’. Report any concern and handover.

 Monitoring and controlling of embankment, sub-base, base filling and asphalt course(hot mix); Supervising, coordinating and follow up day to day work progress, programs and equipments; Preparing and scheduling the activities of the equipments &labors; Quality control on site to conform design specifications; Monitoring and controlling of the embankment & concrete testing such as: soil compaction, moisture content, graduation, concrete slump and concrete compression; Managing and allocating of the lab technicians and labors and; Checking for obstructions. Documenting the condition of the existing property that might be damaged by the work. Make sure all existing structures, property, utilities and landscaping are properly protected.
