- Worked as an Electrical Engineer with Operations Technical Services (OTS) team on many projects. One of the many major projects that I worked on was EF/1600 (Construction of New Elevated Substations in the South & East Kuwait (S&EK) oil field). Part of the CIU Radio Applications Development group, assigned various tasks dealing with issues related to the radio on Blackberry devices. Also, performed sanity testing of different loads on various Blackberry devices. Also, made changes to the radio code used in the upcoming Blackberry devices. Below were the activities that were carried out:- SMS over EVDO testing – tested SMS features over the EVDO network protocol, using the Agilent 8960 and took BugDisp and QXDM logs for further analysis- Test Functions File Split – split a 10,000+ line .C file into smaller files- Sanity Testing – loaded blackberry devices with different loads and did basic sanity testing- Radio Code Changes – made changes to files belonging to the radio functionality of a Blackberry and tested it on different blackberry devices

Member of AMPP group, assigned a research project based on the smart grid initiative. Part of Electrical Engineering group, assigned a project to automate cable selection for various cable functions. Also, worked with contracting company standards and was involved in reviewing them.- Developed an excel program to automate the selection of cables, considering ampacity and voltage drop limitations- Reviewed Kuwait Oil Company’s standards related to cables and motors - Received exposure to grounding calculations, as per British standards

Part of the QA team, was involved in day to day operations of QA department, which involved the running of SQL queries from the Development team and testing them on the QA and Pre-Production test environments.- Involved in the shipment of tickets from a previous ticketing system to the new ticketing system

Member of one of the many IT teams, was involved in the maintenance of the data in the Mainframe system. Assigned various tasks to check different data points for different transactions/banks.

Member of one of the IT groups, created a program (with employee assistance) that would extract the different transactions that took place within a bank on a particular date and print them onto a report. Used Visual C++ and CodeBase in the process.

Created an Application Support Schedule application (with employee assistance) that would allow employees to choose their on-call support for different applications and also to see who else is on-call for a particular application in a given week. Used a variety of software to achieve this including DreamWeaver, Visual Basic, SQL and JavaScript amongst others.

Member of the IT group at PRG Schultz, was responsible for maintaining an office of about 100 employees in their IT needs and assuring the reliable operation of computers, servers and fax servers. Was the only IT support person at the Mississauga office responsible for trouble-shooting all hardware and software problems in the office.

Member of the IT support group in the central office of the Peel Catholic District School Board. Was one of the people responsible for trouble-shooting all the hardware and software problems within the office and sometimes was required to go to other locations.
