- Led a team of engineers & technicians to manage the only PAF Depot-Level repair and maintenance facility for ISR systems including passive radar / ELINT system (European origin), VHF/UHF Surveillance Receivers (U.S. origin), RWR components (Chinese origin), VHF / UHF multi-frequency barrage jammers (local origin) etc. - Performed & supervised resource planning, sub assembly inventory control, budgeting & forecasting, procurement of test & measurement equipment, technical training, quality assurance (QA) audits and workflow / SOPs improvement. Initiated implementation of MIL-STD-2000A for electronics assemblies to enhance repair / replace process quality. - Helped design test cases for boundary testing of performance parameters to be used in flight testing of shortlisted EW Suite (European & Chinese origin) for integration with strike fighter aircraft fleet. Performed post-flight data analysis of RWR data against target parameters & provided recommendations. - Contributed as system architect & interface design resource for EW Threat Library Data Analytics System, being developed locally. Assisted in the development of AI & ground radar parameters analysis module and UI design & layout schemas.

Posted at Regional Air Defense Command & Control Office (Pakistan Air Force) - Led a team of engineers and technicians to provide round-the-clock operational readiness & technical maintenance support to regional Air Defense command & control system, which provided air space monitoring & response through integrated data automation of several short-range (German & Chinese origin) and long-range (U.S. origin) S-band search radars. - Performed and supervised daily / weekly / quarterly operational readiness reporting, line support & maintenance, QA audits, resource planning, personnel management and hardware & software system upgrade / modification projects

Posted at Software Engineering & Maintenance Office (Pakistan Air Force) [ No 118 SED)- Led a team of 20+ technicians to establish & manage Pakistan Air Force’s first-of-its-kind Depot-Level repair and maintenance facility for indigenously developed Air Defense Automation System that integrated long-range & short-range search radars (U.S., German & Chinese origin) deployed in Sindh & Baluchistan regions.- Participated and contributed to a detailed LORA (Level Of Repair Analysis) study in light of MIL-STD-1390D to identify the repair, replace or discard decision metrics of Automation System assemblies & devised SOPs for their I- & D-level maintenance.- Successfully led and completed the D-Level Repair Lab Establishment Project, ensuring ESD-protected environment in line with ANSI/ESD S20.20-2007 standards’ guidelines. Deliverables included short-listing, selecting, purchase and installation of test & measurement equipment, sub-assembly repair / replace / rework stations & SMD rework equipment etc. - Reduced factory repair Turnaround Time (TAT) by 35% by implementing lean six-sigma guidelines, structured user fault-reporting, sub assembly forecasting, process leaning in organizational supply chain and vendor partnerships.

Posted at Software Engineering & Maintenance Office (Pakistan Air Force) [No 118 SED]- Led the successful completion of design and development project of Configuration & Asset Management System (CAMS), a workflow & process automation system especially designed to address the manually-driven military weapon systems configuration management process, utilizing .NET 3.0 Framework, server-client architecture, MS SQL database and web-based user interface. Contributed as a system architecture design resource and implemented Project Management International (PMI) PMBOK principles and concepts to plan, monitor, control and close project scope, quality, time and deliverables. Estimated cost savings to PAF were USD $100k due to the in-house development of the CAMS system.- Contributed as a systems architecture and hardware design resource on the upgrade and modification project of T-37 Flight Simulator utilizing the X-Plane simulator engine. Performed retrofitting of LCD-based soft aircraft instrumentation panels within legacy cockpit frame, designed test cases and supervised ops trials and user acceptance.

Posted at Long-Range Ground Radar Operations Unit (Pakistan Air Force), Malir- Worked as Field Engineer to provide round-the-clock operational readiness and line maintenance support to 02 long-range, S-Band, ground search radars (U.S. origin), especially supervising operational capability of radar data monitoring stations. - Contributed to the implementation of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) following the guidelines of SAE JA1011 and JA1012 standards, identifying causes and states of failures and predicting failure states by collecting key system functional parameters of Tx/Rx, antenna, power electronics, data stations and communication system sub assemblies. Improved radar systems’ MTBF by over 20% and operational availability by 15%.

Posted as Engineering Wing, Flying Operations Base (Pakistan Air Force)- Worked as maintenance engineer to provide I-level line maintenance for avionics suite (AI Radar, RWR, Flight Data Recorder, Flight Mission Computer, INS, GPS, Flight Instruments etc.) installed in strike fighter (Chinese origin) and bomber (French origin) aircrafts deployed on the Base. Performed and supervised fault diagnosis, assembly replacement, field-testing and QA audits. - Participated and supervised the ongoing AI radar (French origin) upgrade with OEM guidance, assisted the OEM technical rep in installation & testing of AI radar I-level test bench and supervised the upgrade of flight data recorder (local origin) on strike fighter fleet by local technicians using preliminary circuit drawings and schematics.

- Acquired IBM Business Partnership for FY 2006-08. Planned sales strategies for our team to sell IBM Tivoli software suite. Hired, trained, coached and managed sales team for IBM Tivoli software suite.- Started a customized software development division and led a team of developers and software architects, designing customized technology solutions for our clients. Participated in the design and development of a Project Management Solution, Collaboration Suite, Learning Management System (Based on Moodle platform) for different clients. - Expanded our services to include digital media design and marketing and set up a social media marketing division catering to the local and international market.
